CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A group of employees from Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at University held a walk Saturday to honor the victims of the UNC Charlotte mass shooting.
More than a dozen people walked through campus and stopped at the Kennedy Building, where the April 30 shooting occurred, to pray for the victims, their families and the university.
Some of those who attended told Channel 9 they were compelled to support the grieving community located just steps from their own campus.
