CHARLOTTE — The Charlotte Fire Department is investigating a fire that was intentionally set in east Charlotte on Saturday morning.
Crews responded to Mansell Court for a house fire, officials announced Saturday. The fire was controlled in 10 minutes and no one was hurt, according to officials.

Residents were displaced as a result of the fire. Officials also found the fire was intentionally set, which they are still investigating.
The estimated loss is at $25,000. Anyone with information about the cause of the fire is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
