CHARLOTTE — Incoming Duke Energy Corp. CEO Harry Sideris will receive an annual base salary of $1.3 million after taking the helm.
Sideris on April 1 will replace Lynn Good, who is retiring as CEO after leading Duke since mid-2013.
Duke’s board of directors also approved compensation for Sideris that includes “a short-term incentive opportunity equal to 150% of his annual base salary, and a long-term incentive opportunity equal to 750% of his annual base salary,” according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Sideris’ base salary is comparable to Good’s 2023 compensation package.
