HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A Huntersville patrol car was involved in a car accident Friday morning on Beatties Ford Road at Bud Henderson Road in Huntersville, paramedics said.
Crews responded to the call after 8:30 a.m. One lane on Beatties Ford Road was closed as the wreck was being cleared.
Police said the officer and the driver were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the wreck has not been released.
