Lake Norman mansion hits market at $16M, making it the most expensive home ever listed in Cornelius

CORNELIUS, N.C. — A sprawling estate on the shores of Lake Norman has come on the market for $16 million, making it the most expensive home listing ever recorded in Canopy MLS for the town of Cornelius. That’s according to listing brokerage Premier Sotheby’s International Realty.

The custom-built mansion hit the market on Thursday. It’s at the end of Harbor Light Boulevard in The Peninsula, a neighborhood in Cornelius known for its collection of luxury, lakefront homes.

Mecklenburg County property records list the owner as Robert Stevanovski, co-founder of Concord-based marketing firm ACN Inc., and wife Sonya. Those records show the couple bought the 1.4-acre lot in 1997 for $715,500. The home was built in 2006.
