LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. — Drivers can no longer get a license plate in Lincolnton after state officials closed the license plate agency on Central Drive Monday.
Its contract with the state expired after the death of the contractor who had been operating it.
Customers may visit other area license plate agencies Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., including:
