Local family shares how COVID-19 impacted them, how they’re dealing with it

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Reports of anxiety, depression and stress have all increased during the coronavirus pandemic, and families are feeling it.

A local mother said the last seven months have been an emotional rollercoaster for her family. Besides adapting to virtual learning and helping her children, she’s also worried about her family’s health and her own.

“I am tired of it and there aren’t many things you can do in this world right now,” said student Steven Vann.
