Local gastropub nabs space in south Charlotte for second location

CHARLOTTE — Harry’s Grille & Tavern is taking vacant space in a south Charlotte shopping center for its second location. It plans to open there later this year.

The local gastropub has signed a lease for nearly 4,700 square feet at 8426 Park Road. That’s located at Quail Corners, a 110,179-square-foot retail center anchored by a Harris Teeter store.

Harry’s replaces Ilios Noche, which closed in that space last October.

Charlotte-based New Forum, which owns Harry’s, plans to immediately begin renovations at the Quail Corners space.

Harry’s, billed as a full-service restaurant serving upscale, casual food, opened its original Steele Creek location within Ayrsley Town Center in 2012. It offers lunch and dinner service, as well as brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.
