CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Most restaurant owners Channel 9 spoke to said customers have been understanding of the mask mandate.
And some restaurants actually purchased their own face masks to hand out so they wouldn’t have to turn guests away.
Along with placing tables 8 feet apart and keeping capacity at 50%, restaurants are adjusting to another new responsibility -- making sure guests are wearing face masks.
“Definitely a lot of training, a lot of conversations are had with our staff,” Waterman Fish Bar’s Paul Manley said.
