CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — A man was arrested, accused of leading deputies on a high-speed chase through Catawba County where shots were fired.
Joshua Parlier has been charged with felony speeding to elude arrest and going armed to the terror of the public.
Nobody was injured.

Deputies also charged him with child abuse and DWI after the chase ended at his home Sunday south of Claremont.
Investigators said they found two 8-year-olds and a 1-year-old who had been left alone at the house.
