Police: Man arrested after racing undercover trooper at 110 mph

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte man is charged after investigators said he tried to race a driver who turned out to be a state trooper.

Timothy Boseman was arrested Wednesday morning, troopers said.

Troopers said he sped through a work zone near Interstate 485 and Rocky River Road.

The trooper was in an unmarked car.

Investigators said Boseman was traveling 110 mph.
