• Man arrested in connection with Rock Hill armed robbery

    BURKE COUNTY, N.C. - A man was arrested in Burke County in connection with a Feb. 9 armed robbery of a Walgreens in Rock Hill, according to a news release from Rock Hill police.

    Rock Hill detectives will be working with North Carolina authorities to have Brandon Auman, 25, extradited to face armed robbery charges in South Carolina.

    Police said the armed robber had walked into the Walgreens on Cherry Road on the morning of Feb.9 and handed the pharmacist a note demanding pills. No one was hurt.
