Man breaks into home, points gun at homeowner and kids

FORT MILL, S.C. — A man broke into a home on Old Branch Road in Fort Mill Thursday afternoon.

Police said once the homeowner got to his house, he noticed it had been broken into and called police.

Soon after, Antonio Culp came out of the residence pointing a gun at the homeowner and his guests including minor children.

Police said Antonio Culp forced everyone to give up their cellphone.

A woman with them instructed the children to run away and that's when Culp ran after the children with the gun in his hand. He even caught up with one of them.

The homeowner went to call for help, according to police and Antonio Culp was taken into custody.

No word on injuries.
