CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An elderly gentleman drove into the Gateway Academy Child Development Center of West Arrowood Road on Tuesday evening.
The man was pulling out of the Walmart when he was struck by a vehicle.
His car went off the road and struck the day care.
There is a crack in the wall, but the vehicle did not penetrate the building.
No children were injured.
The elderly male is being transported to CMC with minor injuries.
