CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were investigating a shooting in northwest Charlotte that sent a man to the hospital overnight.
Officers responded to Hudson Graham Lane just after midnight and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police said he was conscious and able to speak with officers. Paramedics took him to Carolinas Medical Center and he is expected to survive.
CMPD used a helicopter to search the area for the shooter but have not made any arrests. It was unclear what led up to the shooting.
