Man says airline kicked him out of airport because of videotaping

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man said American Airlines kicked him out of the Charlotte Douglas International Airport because he recorded video of an attendant speaking to customers.

David Yi said he recorded the video because he saw the man "berate" 30 people stranded at the airport.

Police told him the recording wasn't against the law but rather an American Airlines policy.

Yi took to Twitter after his experience inside the airport.

He said after a canceled flight, passengers sought answers from an American Airlines employee who Yi says berated them in return.

“It made me feel uncomfortable as a passenger and so I thought maybe I should record this before it escalates,” Yi said.
