• Man wanted in 2 Shelby robberies

    SHELBY, N.C. - Police are looking a man they said robbed two stores in Shelby.
     
    Officers said the man went into the Kangaroo Express on West Dixon Boulevard at about 5 a.m. Sunday, pulled out a handgun and demanded money.
     
    The second robbery happened about a half hour later at Fast Stop market on East Dixon Boulevard.
     
    The clerk said a man that looked just like the first robber also showed a gun and demanded money.
