CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — A manufacturer of cryogenic equipment for the energy and industrial gas markets will bring 50 jobs to the greater Charlotte region as it establishes an operations center in Chester County, according to a press release from the S.C. Department of Commerce.
Chart Industries Inc. plans to invest $7 million in the facility at 5424 Richburg Road in Richburg, about 45 miles south of Charlotte. Work on the facility is expected to be complete in the first quarter of 2021.
It will serve as a repair, service and leasing facility for the company’s products.
