Many say they still haven’t gotten their first stimulus check

CHARLOTTE — There are still people, including Priscilla Lambert, who have not received their stimulus check that many got months ago.

She said she could use it after a difficult year.

Lambert told Action 9′s Jason Stoogenke that her husband of 50 years had multiple health issues and died in March, and then she contracted COVID-19.

“We’re like middle class or maybe even lower by standards nowadays,” she said.

Lambert isn’t sure why it’s taken so long to get the check.

"I have to trust in the Lord for everything," she said.

Lambert said she could use the money to pay her husband’s medical bills.
