MINT HILL, N.C. — Authorities said someone brought marijuana-laced treats to a local middle school for the second time in two months.
Officials found the Rice Krispie treats at Mint Hill Middle School last week.
Some parents Channel 9 spoke with on Tuesday said the school isn’t to blame.
“It's dangerous, and the kids are bringing stuff probably due to the parents,” parent Rob Kalousek said. “That’s pretty sad is what it is.”
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools officials said they are investigating the incident.
Police said tainted cookies were brought to the school last month, as well.
