CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Matthews town board approved a lease agreement with the Matthews Free Medical Clinic on Tuesday.
The town will lease the facility at South Trade Street to the Matthews Free Medical Clinic for the next decade.
The clinic will lease the front portion of the building.
The Matthews Free Medical Clinic has experienced double -digit increases in patient visits since opening its doors in 2004.
The 3,068-square-foot facility will allow the clinic to double its space.
