McCaffrey is now part of the Madden 99 Club. He is the sixth running back to achieve the 99-overall rating.

McCaffrey started the season rated 91 overall.

“Madden NFL” ratings adjusters kept up with his performance throughout the season and steadily increase his rating.

Ratings Adjusters attended the Panthers’ practice and the game last week against the Atlanta Falcons and saw McCaffrey’s performance to confirm he was worthy of the 99 Club.

“It’s unreal to be the youngest player ever to reach 99 overall in Madden NFL and to know the adjuster team feels my performance on the field warrants the highest rating is extremely flattering. Very few athletes achieve the 99 rating and I’m honored to join such an elite group,” McCaffrey said.

Barry Sanders, Marshall Faulk, LaDainian Tomlinson, Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson are the only running backs who had a 99 rating.
