NORTH CAROLINA - North Carolina's new governor has expanded his transition team to include CEOs along with former and current state lawmakers.

More than a dozen groups are meeting in person or by phone at least weekly, evaluating state agencies and goals that Gov.-elect Pat McCrory wants to meet.

They will report back to McCrory and recommend how agencies can run more efficiently once he takes office next month.
