‘Meals on Wheels’ a critical service to seniors during pandemic

LANCASTER, S.C. — Meals on Wheels in Lancaster delivered about 600 meals to seniors Friday morning.

People at that age are at a higher risk of catching the coronavirus, so going to the grocery store where there are people could be dangerous.

The Meals on Wheels volunteers brought food and supplies to their doorsteps.

In the video at the top of this webpage, Channel 9’s Greg Suskin is at a senior center on Plantation Road where the volunteers dropped off hundreds of meals.
