Police: Man stabbed multiple times following argument

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man was taken to Carolinas Medical Center after being stabbed around 6 p.m. Wednesday in southwest Charlotte, according to MEDIC.

The victim, 25-year-old Cortney Pinkney, suffered life-threatening injuries after being stabbed multiple times, according to police and paramedics.

The stabbing happened at the 4400 block of South Tryon Street near Jeremiah Avenue.

Witnesses said Pinckney and another man were arguing just before the stabbing. No arrests have been made.
