Middle school in Iredell County switches to remote learning after COVID cluster

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Third Creek Middle school will now switch to remote learning for a week after a COVID cluster was reported at the school.

School officials said four out of the seven reported cases were related to secondary spread at school, and that all grades were impacted.

Over 130 students have been in close contact and are now in quarantine.

Students will return to in-person learning on May 24th.
