CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Thousands across North Carolina lost power due to the weekend's winter storm, which dumped inches of snow, sleet, and ice in parts of the state.
One community in Mint Hill was hit hard when a tree fell during Sunday's storm and caused a ripple effect, knocking over five A T&T poles and lines.
Watch the video above as residents in Mint Hill showed Eyewitness News Reporter Gina Esposito the power lines down across their yards for days.
