Mixed-use project in Elizabeth reaches construction milestone

CHARLOTTE — Prominent local real estate firm Crescent Communities reached a construction milestone recently on a notable project in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood. The firm has topped out — or completed structural construction — on Elizabeth on Seventh, a mixed-use development that will deliver office and retail space.

So far, roughly 600 tons of structural steel have been used, with 35,000 man-hours worked by over 40 different subcontractor and vendor partners, Crescent Communities says in a press release. Up next is work on interior walls and the façade.
