The robbery occurred at the Wells Fargo on East Sugar Creek Road at 12:50 p.m.

While officers were investigating at the bank, Channel 9 was with other officers when they found stolen money laying on a sidewalk, along with a circuit board-type device on Eastway Drive.

The money had a device attached to it to help track the robber.

Chopper 9 was in the air while police surrounded the bank, while other officers investigated the scene on Eastway Drive.

It all happened just yards away from Terrell Linder's house.

“I was wondering what happened,” Linder said.

He said he was inside making lunch when investigators found a stack of bills taken during the robbery on the ground.

The suspect apparently tossed it out a window when the robber realized the teller gave him money that was bugged with a tracking device.

Pieces of that device were shattered on the ground.

Police are looking for that robber and the car he was driving.

Linder said his family will be on the lookout in hopes an arrest will make the area safer.

“Look how busy it is. There is always something going on around here,” Linder said.

Police have not released any information on the robber, the getaway car or whether the robber was armed.
