Monroe man facing charges for throwing kitten at a wall

MONROE — A Monroe man is facing criminal charges after police say he threw a kitten into a wall.

Police said they were called to Jamal McDonald's house on Saturday because of a fight.

They discovered that McDonald threw a six-week-old kitten against a wall after he became angry when the kitten chewed on an electrical cord.

The kitten is recovering.
