• Mooresville police investigate 2 armed robberies

    MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Mooresville police said they are investigating two armed robberies.

    Investigators said a man burst into the Food Lion on North Main Street around 8 p.m. Friday.
     
    A few hours later officers said someone robbed the Walmart on Norman Station Boulevard.
     
    No one was hurt in the robberies and officers are investigating both cases.
     
    They are looking for a black man, about 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket, but have not said whether it's the same person.
