• More charges possible after woman robbed in parking lot dies

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - There may be more charges after a woman who was robbed in a Walmart parking lot died.
     
    Police said Jeanette Harward, 75, started having chest pains after a man offered to return her shopping cart, then knocked her to the ground three weeks ago.
     
    Eyewitness News learned Friday that Harward died.
     
    Albemarle police arrested two people on robbery charges. Police said they handed information over to the District Attorney’s Office, who will decided whether to press murder charges.
