• More than 50 firefighters battle 2-alarm fire at dry-cleaning business

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Dozens of firefighters were called to battle a two-alarm fire at a Charlotte dry-cleaning business overnight.

    The flames broke out just after midnight in the Hutchinson Shopping Center on North Graham Street, just outside uptown.

    It took more than 50 firefighters nearly 45 minutes to get the fire under control.

    No one was hurt.

    Investigators determined the fire started behind a clothes dryer and estimated the damage at $25,000.
