Most Gaston County emergency employees are vaccinated against COVID-19, director says

GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — Protecting the workers on the frontlines of the pandemic from COVID-19 is a trop priority from Gaston County leaders.

The director of emergency management told Channel 9 Reporter Ken Lemon that most of their employees are fully vaccinated. This is especially important emergency management employees are such a small group.

However, the county said it’s having more trouble.
