Mother arrested after baby found with severe burns

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A Rock Hill mother is facing charges after her baby was found with severe burns.

Police arrested and charged Rakeshia Johnson with unlawful conduct toward a child.

In January, her 5-month-old son was sent to the burn center in Chapel Hill after he was left too close to a space heater while in his car seat.

Johnson is out of jail on a $6,000 bond.
