• Multiple crews fight blaze in nearly 100-year-old Lenoir home

    LENOIR, N.C. - Crews from three different departments are fighting a house fire just south of Lenoir.

    Firefighters said the home along Baton School Road is nearly 100 years old.

    The fire started sometime before 5 p.m. Monday.

    Extra firefighters were called in from Burke County to help put the fire out.

    There are no reports of injuries.

    Officials said the owner was trying to rent the home.
