CHARLOTTE, N.C. — NBA All-Star players, fans, media, and other visitors filled up more hotel rooms than any other event in Charlotte history.
Officials said more than 95 percent of the hotel rooms in uptown were booked over the weekend.
This is compared to 28 percent during the same time last year.
The average price per night was $320, which was higher than the DNC in 2012 when the average was $307.
The Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority is still analyzing numbers to figure out exactly how much money the All-Star Weekend brough to the city.
Officials are estimating about $100 million.
