NORTH CAROLINA — 1,000 new jobs are coming to North Carolina as Amazon teams up with a fiber-optic company to build data centers.
Our partners at the Charlotte Observer report Corning will supply optical fiber for Amazon’s centers.
Some new jobs will come to Corning’s sites across the state including Concord, Hickory, and Newton.
