New shop at Concord Mills dishes up sweets, coffee — and a 1920s vibe

CONCORD, N.C. — This shop at Concord Mills wants to become a destination for quality coffees, ice cream, desserts and wine.

The Percantile & Creamery has snagged 2,300 square feet at 8635 Concord Mills Blvd. That’s on an outparcel on the northwest side of the mall, near Dave & Buster’s and the AMC Concord Mills 24 movie theater.

It aims to fill a niche with its 1920s theme and diverse offerings, says Sean Colas, owner.

Percantile & Creamery’s grand-opening celebration is set for Nov. 2. Those dressed in 1920s attire will be rewarded with a free specialty craft latte and raffle ticket.

Colas notes that era transports guests back to a more elegant and carefree time.

“For whatever reason, people love it,” he says.
