That 1,400-square-foot market will offer pantry supplies and essentials, artisanal goods and grab ‘n’ go sandwiches. It also aims to deliver a casual atmosphere where neighbors and friends can gather for a drink at the bar. Plans call for a restaurant to follow.

The Exchange will be located at 451 36th St., in the former Behailu Academy site. That’s in the heart of NoDa’s Arts District and in close proximity to the NoDa light-rail stop.
