Nonprofits want to improve vaccination rate for Hispanic community

CHARLOTTE — North Carolina leaders said they are determined to get the COVID-19 vaccine distributed fairly, but there are groups in the community that are getting left behind.

About 2% of Hispanics have been vaccinated.

The Camino Center, a nonprofit, is trying to improve that rate.
