CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 5-year-old girl walked away from a wreck after the SUV she was in collided with a dump truck Saturday afternoon.
Her mother was driving a Nissan Pathfinder when the accident happened near Sledge and Shopton roads in Charlotte, officials said.

The daughter was in the backseat of the SUV when it flipped after hitting the truck. She had minor injuries. The mother's injuries were potentially-life threatening, officials said.
The cause is under investigation.
