• Officials: Mobile meth lab found after traffic stop

    MOORESVILLE, N.C. -

    Mooresville police arrested two men in connection with a mobile meth lab Monday during a traffic stop in the 500 block of River Highway.

    Police stopped Aaron Douglas Smith and Christopher Brian Jackson in a vehicle displaying a revoked registration plate.

    Soon after, police said they saw items revealing an active meth lab.

    Hazmat crews responded to the meth lab in the Lowe's parking lot. Crews are working to decontaminate the site.
