• Officials: Sewage spills into Troutman creek


    TROUTMAN, N.C. - More than 1,000 gallons of sewage leaked into a Troutman creek this weekend but Public Works officials said no drinking water was contaminated.
    Officials said two machines stopped communicating causing 1,500 gallons of sewage to flow into IL Creek.
