Online marketing company adds 130 new jobs in Charlotte area

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Yodle, Inc., a company in online marketing, announced Tuesday that it will expand into a new 35,000-square-foot office located on Claude Freeman Drive in Charlotte.

The company expects to create 130 new jobs in Charlotte, doubling its current employee base in the city.

The majority of new employees will be in sales with the remainder primarily working in client services positions.

"Yodle has seen significant growth in Charlotte since we first established a presence in the city in 2007," said Michael Gordon, Yodle's chief financial officer. "With Charlotte's talented labor pool and business friendly climate, we look forward to continued growth in the years to come."

Yodle provides local online marketing solutions to over 35,000 small businesses in both the U.S. and Canada.
