CHARLOTTE, N.C. — After holding two successful on-site COVID-19 vaccination clinics for its eligible tenants and employees earlier this year, Optimist Hall will host community clinics on Tuesday and Thursday that are open to the public.
The Moderna vaccine will be offered at the clinics, and patients can sign up for either the first or the second dose. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ups will be accepted.
The clinics were organized in partnership with RAO Community Health, a nonprofit organization that provides medical, social, mental health and health education to underserved communities within the Charlotte-Metro and surrounding areas.
Any North Carolina resident age 18 or older is eligible for the vaccine.
Clinic hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday and from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
To schedule an appointment, call 704-237-8793.
Optimist Hall is at 1115 North Brevard Street.
