CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The organizer of a food pantry is struggling to put together an annual holiday dinner.

Hattie McNeely runs the Care to Share food pantry out of All Saints Episcopal Church on the Plaza.

She planned to feed 160 children and 153 seniors during a holiday party next week, but McNeely said the donations she was counting on from local companies just haven't come through.

Now, McNeely said she is hoping the community will step up to help so she can hold the dinner.
