CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Someone was hit and killed by an SUV at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on S.C. Highway 72 near Craig Brow Circle in Chester County, troopers said.

The 86-year-old driver was traveling west on the road when he hit the pedestrian.
The driver was not injured.
