Person seriously hurt after crashing on I-485 in north Charlotte, officials say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A person was seriously hurt after crashing Saturday afternoon on Interstate 485 in north Charlotte, officials said.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. on the I-485 inner loop near Old Statesville Road.

One inner loop lane was shut down as troopers investigate the scene.

Channel 9 was told that it was a single-vehicle crash. The driver’s condition is unknown at this point.
