Officials ID 2 killed in Chester Co. plane crash

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Officials in Chester County have released the names of the two people killed in a plane crash over the weekend.

The Chester County Coroner identified the crash victims as 24-year-old Ericson Davis and 22-year-old Anisa Rossi.

Davis was a Marine from Florida and Rossi was from Rhode Island.

Both were found dead in the wreckage.

Authorities said their plane crashed Friday after leaving Wilmington, North Carolina headed for Columbia, South Carolina enroute to Savannah, Georgia.

The plane had been missing since Sunday night and was found Monday in Chester County, according to officials.

The plane was registered to Warriors to Wings Aero Club.

The Federal Aviation Administration is expected to be on scene Tuesday.
